Hardy started out as a fashion illustrator for publications such as Vanity Fair Italy and Vogue Hommes International before moving on to design shoe collections for Dior, Hermes and Balenciaga. In 1999, he launched his namesake collection and frequently finds his inspiration in art and architecture. The Summer 2012 collection is absolutely beautiful and if you can afford a pair, I certainly encourage you to add a pair of Pierre Hardy's to your shoe collection.
